“Not quite 90’s I’m a late 80’s baby”. Modestly spoken by J.Pinder when talking like a true “Big Homie”. Barely legal but moves like one twice his senior. Maybe it’s because for the past 5 years he’s been playing the background learning and being mentored by some of hip- hops finest , Jake One, Vitamin D, and Jonathan Moore.

Justin Allen Pinder – p/k/a by his stage name J.Pinder – First gained major attention after his debut mixtape “Backpack Wax” with Seattle hip- hop legend producer/dj Vitamin D . Later to be featured on Jake One’s producer album “White Van Music” ( Rhymesayers Ent.) on the song entitled “Big Homie Style”

Call him what you want , a caveman, studio rat , or a home body , very few match this talented young artists passion for creating.

Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated debut digital EP “ Code Red ” on Grand Groove in collaboration with lifestyle boutique “GOODS,” J.Pinder’s hard work and ability shines through. The perfectly crafted songs and poignant lyrics display an emotional depth and artistic sensibility far beyond his years. With outstanding production contributions by Jake one, Vitamin D, and Kuddie Fresh of tha Bizness, and guest appearances from Rapper Big Pooh (Little Brother), Toki Wright (Rhymesayers), and Guilty Simpson (Stones Throw), Code Red is a perfect entrance theme for the young Seattlite. J.Pinder is the emerging artist to keep an eye and an ear out for.
